Learn about currents and turbulence, moving-boat applications – and lots more!
We’re pleased to invite you to learn all about our latest generation ADCPs in Nortek’s Signature series during Nortek’s Doppler Day on May 14th. This special event will be held at Hotel New York in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Nortek’s Signature instruments offer a range of new opportunities for scientists, researchers and engineers. During the workshop you will learn how to take full advantage of these opportunities. We’ll focus specifically on mean currents and turbulence, wave height and direction, echo profiles and moving-boat applications.

Signature ADCPs are the optimal tools for turbulence measurements. With a high maximum sampling frequency, they give the scientific community an unprecedented opportunity to study a part of the turbulence spectrum that has never been accessible before. Vertical high-resolution current profiles over a large range further increase the Signature series’ versatility, as does its ability to measure wave height and direction. The center beam on a Signature ADCP also functions as a biological echosounder, enabling high-resolution measurements of biomass in the water column.
During the day we will focus on measurements in shallow water as well as studies of waves and currents in the deep ocean.
Instruments that will be discussed:
- Signature1000
- Signature500
- Signature250
- Signature100
- Signature55
- Signature VM
