Meet Nortek's first employee - Thore Thoresen

In this video, Nortek's first employee, Thore Thoresen, shares his journey of more than 30 years at Nortek. From having his first interview sitting on shipping boxes in an office that had no furniture, to being part of a globally recognized company, Thore has seen Nortek grow every step of the way.

Today, Thore is Principal Mechanical Engineer, working on a wide range of projects, from the mechanical design of Nortek products to building machining prototypes and turning new ideas into reality.

Outside of work, Thore flies historic World War II aircraft and takes part in aerobatic air shows and competitions, where he is a seven-time Norwegian National Champion.
