Nucleus 1000 expands compatibility with MarineNav ROV systems
We are pleased to announce that MarineNav Ltd, the Canadian manufacturer of Oceanus ROV systems, recently completed successful testing and trials using the Nortek Nucleus 1000 to achieve autonomous functionality as well as autonomous control on the Oceanus Pro, Oceanus P8 Pro, the Oceanus Ultimate and the Oceanus Ultimate Max submersibles.

Infragravity wave measurement mode now available for Signature ADCPs
Infragravity waves are long-period waves generated by wind waves interacting with ocean swell. These long waves are of particular interest to researchers studying coastal processes, sediment dynamics, or coastal erosion, as they can travel much farther up on shore than shorter period waves.

Nortek announces new partnership with OGEQUIP for ADCP and DVL services in Brazil
OGEQUIP will now operate as an authorized local service provider for Nortek ADCPs, current meters and DVLs in Brazil.

Rory Findlay appointed Business Unit Director – Navigation
Rory Findlay has been appointed as Business Unit Director – Navigation, effective 1 February. He has been with Nortek for more than eight years and has held the roles of Business Development Manager and Group Commercial Manager, working closely across technical support, sales, and business development for both Nortek’s Navigation (DVLs) and Oceanography (ADCPs) product lines.
