Webinar: How to use ADCPs to estimate suspended sediment properly

Ever since ADCPs became commercially available, users have attempted to employ them for estimating suspended sediment concentration.

Over the years, two main approaches have been developed: one based on acoustic theory and another based on semi-empirical data collection. Unfortunately, both of these methods use standard ADCP technology and therefore do not provide sufficient spatial resolution and dynamic range to fully capture data on the sediments.

In this webinar we will cover some of the basic concepts in using acoustics for suspended sediment estimation, and have a look at unique technology created to solve this task.
