Performance update for the Nucleus 1000
Based on the substantial amount of real-world test data gathered since the Nucleus 1000 was launched, Nortek is increasing its specified bottom-track range from 50 m to 60 m. The revised specification applies to Nucleus 1000 systems already delivered, as well as new units.

Bottom-track range is one of the most important specifications of a DVL. Every additional meter gives a vehicle greater flexibility to navigate changing terrain, operate at higher altitudes, and maintain more clearance from the seabed.
This is especially valuable for the Nucleus 1000, our most compact navigation system, designed for small vehicles. Our specifications are backed by rigorous testing in demanding conditions, and we’re excited to bring this enhanced capability to the market.
