Understanding vessel-mounted current survey data with Signature VM Review

“What does your review software actually do?” This is a question asked by many potential users of Nortek's vessel-mounted current measurement systems.

Users are looking for easy-to-use software that enables them to quickly see and understand the data.

Other types of software have been found to be unnecessarily complex, involving all kinds of features for configuration of the ADCP instrumentation and accessories.

However, Nortek's VM systems have review software that is simpler to use, focusing mainly on reviewing the data. This can be done either on board the vessel or at the office.

This video shows the processing of data from the River Rhine. The datafile is opened, several views are shown and settings are changed. It also shows how data can be prepared for export to the Velocity Mapping Toolbox and how that data can be displayed in the toolbox.
